Using PfS

Using PfS is simple - assessments where and when you need them

Beginning to use Profiling for Success is easy. Telephone us now on +44(0)1628 637338 and we will set up an account for you which you can begin to use immediately.

Once your account is set up, you will be given a unique client code and password giving you access to your 'client area'. The client area is where you manage your PfS account and including setting up the access codes which enable your test-takers to log-in to the PfS system to take assessments.

An access code determines what will happen during a testing session when someone logs in with that code. You don't need to set up an access code for every person you want to take an assessment. If you have several individuals who all need to take the same set of assessments, simply set up one access code and send it (along with a password and your own client code) to each of those individuals.

The access code you set up determines which:

  • tests or questionnaires will be offered to the person during the testing session;
  • norms will be used for scoring each test or questionnaire;
  • reports will be sent to yourself as the client, and what e-mail address they should be sent to;
  • feedback reports, if any, will be sent to the test-taker at the e-mail address they will be asked to enter.

Once the access code has been set up, you then send this to each person you wish to take the assessments along with your client code, a password to be used with the access code and instructions on how to log-in to the PfS system.

The candidates can then take the tests and questionnaires whenever they wish, 24 hours a day. If you have asked them to take more than one assessment, they can take them all during a single session or during several sessions, according to whatever is most convenient to them.
