Using Profiling for Success is easy. As a new client, for an initial investment of £250, you get 250 free credits plus a personal PfS account plus telephone training so that you can be using PfS in a matter of hours. Your credits can be used with any of the PfS tests and questionnaires which you are qualified to use. You will also have telephone support and online access to the latest user guides, norm tables and other product updates and resources.
How the PfS credit system works
The PfS assessments work on a credit system, with each assessment and report costing a certain number of credits. A full list of the credit costs for assessments and report options is available here. Credits cost £1 each, with discounts available for large orders.
Clients are charged for each test administration and each report delivered to them or the test-taker. Every time a test is taken via your account or a report delivered, the appropriate number of credits are automatically deducted from your account.
Purchasing online credits is very simple as it can be done online. Log-in to the client area using your client code and password and click on the 'Order Credits' button from the main menu. Enter the number of credits you wish to purchase along with any order reference you wish to provide, click on the Continue button and the credits will be automatically added to your PfS account. You don't need to pay for the credits immediately; an invoice will be sent to you a few days later. This means that you can top up your credits at any time, and the payment can be taken care of by your accounts department in the normal manner.
A further feature of the credit system is that if you run out of credits, your test-takers will not automatically be prevented from taking tests via your account. The system will continue to allow tests to be taken and reports to be delivered via your account. You will receive an automatic notification by e-mail telling you that your account is in deficit and that you need to purchase more credits as soon as possible.
The PfS licence system
Organisations who expect to make heavy usage of the PfS service may find it advantageous to pay for the service via an annual licence. This will normally mean that the cost per test and per report will be less than via the credit system and also you will not need to worry about ordering and paying for credits on a routine basis.
