As soon as you reach the end of a test or questionnaire and submit your answers, the data is transmitted to the PfS server and analysed by a computer program. The program scores your responses and creates one or more reports describing your performance or responses on the assessment.
If you have been asked to complete the assessments by your employer or another organisation, you may receive a feedback report by e-mail within a few minutes of submitting your results. At the same time, one or more reports may be sent to the organisation which asked you to take the assessments. There are also cases where you will not receive a report directly from PfS, though you may receive feedback on your results from the organisation in question.
In general, the reports may be used for assessing your suitability for a given job, for helping you make decisions about your career, for providing feedback on your development needs and so on. Normally the reason you have been asked to take the assessments and the purpose to which the reports will be put will already have been explained to you.
If you have bought the assessments online to profile yourself, then normally just a single report will be sent to your for each test you complete. No reports will be sent to any other person.
Your personal and test or questionnaire data will be stored securely on the PfS server in accordance with the Data Protection Act. This data may be used for research purposes and to ensure that the PfS assessments are fair to all those who take them. When used for these purposes, data will be anonymised and it will not be possible to identify any individual from their responses.
