Welcome to ECB assessments
As part of the recruitment process at the European Central Bank (ECB), you will be asked to complete a series of online assessment exercises. The purpose of the exercises is to determine the extent to which you have the competencies considered essential for the job you are applying for. All assessment exercises can only be taken once in any 12-month period. Your results will therefore be used again should you decide to take part in other ECB recruitment campaigns during that period for positions of a similar level and requiring a similar profile. The exercises are in English and may differ in length. Some are run under tight time pressure while others have no time constraints. You can choose when to do each exercise and you may spread them out over several days, as long as they are all completed before the deadline. Please ensure that you can do the assessments in a quiet environment where you will not be interrupted. It is highly recommended to use a PC with mouse. IMPORTANT: The assessments stage of the recruitment campaign is eliminatory. You will receive a feedback report with your results immediately after you have completed each exercise. We would remind you that the recruitment process at the ECB is a comparative one in which you compete with all of the other applicants for the position. Thus, even very good results may not necessarily lead to an invitation for interview. If you are successful and invited for interview, the ECB may ask you to sit further tests onsite in order to confirm the authenticity of your results. The ECB has partnered with Team Focus and Profiling for Success to provide the assessments for the position for which you are applying.
